Words matter

Is your writing holding back your business?

You're in business to sell. But if your words aren't up to scratch, you're not making it easy for yourself. Why? Because you risk leaving the reader unconvinced, confused or simply indifferent - and that won't make a sale.

It's not just about reaching your customers either. 'Selling' could also mean persuading investors to take a look at your business. Or getting your employees onside. Or explaining to suppliers exactly what you need from them. Maybe even convincing someone to give you a job.

So is your business writing good enough?
Poor business writing usually makes one or more of the following mistakes:
It goes on about what the writer wants to say, rather than what the reader wants to hear.It doesn't get to the point quickly enough. It doesn't sound like a real person talking.

What can you do about it then?
